Twins Suffer 4-3 Loss to Chicago
|
Chicago right-hander Garrett Bohannan pitched his team to victory over the Minnesota Twins at U.S. Cellular Field. The final score was 4-3. Bohannan went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 14-4. The loss makes Minnesota 80-71.
Dan Roos dealt the Twins a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Chicago leading 1-0, Roos, who is tied for 5th in the AL with a .564 slugging percentage, hit a 2-2 slider for a 2-run single.
"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Roos told the Chicago News. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
