Orioles 7-2 Winners Over Toronto
|
The Baltimore Orioles knocked off the Toronto Blue Jays, 7-2, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Antonio Cardenas was a big reason Baltimore won. The third baseman went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Adam Baker collected his 1st save. After today's action, Baltimore sits at 65-86, while Toronto falls to 85-66.
Cardenas had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a full count fastball from Alex Bartolo, he banged a 2-run double to right-center, giving the Orioles a 2-1 lead. It was the 17th double of the year for Cardenas.
"Solid performance from our side," said Orioles manager Zeb Currier.
