Rangers Snatch Late-Game, 6-5 Win
The Texas Rangers picked up a win at Globe Life Park in Arlington, knocking off the Houston Astros, 6-5, in 11 innings. On the mound for Texas was right-hander Ryan Person. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. The Rangers go to 59-92, putting them 4th in the American League West Division.

The Rangers got a clutch hit from center fielder Billy Thompson. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rangers.

"We just battled, never quit, and continued to grind out at-bats trying to create some opportunities," said Texas manager Stephen Gesualdi.
