Dodgers Rally to Eke Out Win
|
Las Vegas pitcher Dustin Walker gave the Dodgers all they could handle, but in the end, Los Angeles left Las Vegas Ballpark with a win, 2-1. Walker allowed no runs on 1 hit over 6.1 innings. Ted Spann claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record stands at 3-2. Jake Young recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 2 for 5.
Tyler Swan came through with a big-time hit for Los Angeles. The center fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to give his team the lead, 2-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
In postgame remarks, Swan said: "I'm proud of our guys, of their fight."
The third-place Dodgers are now 78-74, the Hustle 89-63.
