Cardinals Come Back Late to Top Cubs, 4-1
|
Jeff Osborne had a hand in St. Louis defeating Chicago by the score of 4-1. Osborne went 3 for 4 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 2 runs. St. Louis reliever Rick Trojanowski was the winner. His record is now 6-5. Brian Martinko took the loss. The Cardinals raised their record to 76-77.
Osborne had an important at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Cardinals went on to win.
