Angels Get Past Texas, 4-3
The Los Angeles Angels faced a tough opponent in Texas pitcher Jamie Allen, but still scratched out a win at Globe Life Park in Arlington by a final score of 4-3 in 15 innings. Allen went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Matt Olson earned the save for Los Angeles, his 3rd. With the win over Texas, the Angels improved to 77-76.

Mike Travis delivered a big hit for Los Angeles. The shortstop drilled a solo home run in the top of the 15th inning to put the Angels ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"It was terrific getting this win," Travis said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
