Rockies Reel Off Another Win
The Colorado Rockies stopped the Milwaukee Brewers, 10-4, at Colorado Field. The Rockies got a big game from Hsi-chuen Tian, who went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Casey Neill picked up the win, lifting his record to 15-8 on the season. He struck out 12 and walked 0 in 6 innings, while yielding 4 runs. The Rockies have now won 6 straight.

The Brewers had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Rockies going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old left fielder Francisco Torres came to the plate. Torres hit a 2-run double on a 1-1 fastball from Milwaukee hurler Ivan Gonzales. It was Torres's 34th double of the year.
