Strickland Slugs 300th Home Run
The crowd roared -- they knew they were seeing history -- and Chris Strickland was delighted, too. The 31-year-old Hustle third baseman was making history with his 300th career homer. The crowd buzzed and roared again when Strickland stuck his head out of the dugout for a curtain call.

"Never, as a kid, did I ever think I'd hit even one," he told BNN after hitting No. 300 in a 5-2 victory over San Francisco. Strickland went 1-for-4 in the game, had 4 RBI, and scored 1 run.

Strickland's all-time stats include: 1446 hits, 298 doubles, 40 triples, 300 home runs and 887 RBIs in 1200 games. He is batting .309 with 52 stolen bases and has scored 796 runs.
