Win Goes to Mariners in Tight Contest
The Seattle Mariners picked up a win at Minute Maid Park, taking down the Houston Astros, 5-2. Starting pitcher Matt Quint was a big reason why. The win puts Seattle at 56-98.

Seattle used a timely hit from Bill Larimer to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mariners ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Quint.
