Alessi goes 3-for-5, Leads Reds to Win
The Cincinnati Reds defeated the Las Vegas Hustle, 7-4. Shortstop Allan Alessi deserved a large share of the credit. Alessi was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the Reds. Cincinnati now has a record of 93-61 with the win.

Gary Arbogast, who finished 5th in the NL in triples with 10 last year, helped out the Cincinnati cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate.

"I'm just out there trying to have as much fun as I can while I'm playing," Arbogast told the Cincinnati News.
