Hill, Pirates Get Tidy 2-1 Win Over Philadelphia
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies.

The Pittsburgh Pirates earned a close win over the Philadelphia Phillies, thanks in part to Bobby Hill. The Pittsburgh left-hander played a key role in the 2-1 victory. At 72-83, the Pirates claim last place in the National League East Division.

Hill dominated for Pittsburgh, raising his record to 3-0. Philadelphia hitters had few good at-bats against the left-hander, who scattered 2 hits over 8 innings while striking out 4.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Hill said after the game.
