A 4-RBI performance from Chris Calder helped the Texas Rangers beat the Minnesota Twins, 11-8. Ryan Frederick nailed down his 44th save. The victory gives the Rangers a record of 87-70.

A key moment came with one out in the top of the third. That's when Calder hit a sinker from Justin Hedger for a 2-run single, putting Texas up, 8-6.

"If you were looking for a pitchers' duel," said Calder, "this wasn't it."
