Angels Walk It Off for 85th Win of Season
The Philadelphia Phillies got a superb performance from second baseman Matt Menendez, but the Los Angeles Angels still won the game, 10-8. Menendez belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The triumph puts Los Angeles at 85-72 for the season.

Los Angeles got a knockout punch from David Elson. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Elson said.
