Cleveland designated hitter Ramon Carrion picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Oakland Athletics, 6-5. Earning the save was Pablo Iglesias. He's now cashed in 36 of 42 save opportunities. Cleveland bumps their record to 80-79 with the win.

Cleveland used the timely hitting of Walt Baranyi to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Guardians on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Cleveland manager Danny Jaime.
