Minnesota Beats Cleveland, 3-2

The Minnesota Twins eked out a 3-2 win versus the Cleveland Guardians at Target Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Matt Archambault. He was terrific. Archambault yielded 1 run over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 0, and struck out 7. His record improves to 13-5. The Twins lead the American League Central Division by 5 games.
Josh Morgan had a big 2-run home run for the Twins in the bottom of the third inning. With Minnesota leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a sinker from Nick Wise, who is tied for 6th in the AL in complete games with 1, and punished it. The result was his 14th home run of the season, which put the Twins on top, 3-0.
Minnesota manager Chris Greuling commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
