With Eric Walsh leading the charge, the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Colorado Rockies, 9-6. Walsh hit 3 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored three times for the Brewers. Chad Coslow picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 15-10. Nick Puckett was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Brewers have a record of 88-71.

With Milwaukee trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Walsh hit a fastball from Nick Puckett for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Brewers ahead, 3-1.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Walsh told the Milwaukee Observer.
