Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Las Vegas Hustle and Philadelphia Phillies.

The Las Vegas Hustle racked up a win at Las Vegas Ballpark, bumping off the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-3. Colin Whittle, who started for Las Vegas, pitched effectively for his team. Reliever Joe Davis picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Tom Fetherolf took the loss. Earning his 10th save for Las Vegas was Nate Brittian.

Las Vegas took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Chris Strickland hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Hustle in front, 3-2.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Whittle told the Las Vegas Daily.

The Hustle go to 62-97 with the win.
