Cleveland Guardians starter Danny Sanchez kept the Detroit Tigers hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. The Guardians, at 89-71, have now won 4 straight.

The Guardians got a big at-bat from catcher Dallas Ostrove. For the game, Ostrove was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 30th home run of the season gave Cleveland a 3-0 lead.
