Mets Lose to Phillies in Walk Off
The Philadelphia Phillies did just enough to sneak past the New York Mets, 6-5, at Citizens Bank Park. Philadelphia pitcher Eric Allard, in particular, had a standout performance. The third-place Phillies sport a record of 79-81.

Ryan Klepper was the walk-off hero for Philadelphia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Phillies center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Allard.
