Williams Hits 2 home runs in Dodgers Win
|
Due in large part to third baseman Jon Williams, the Los Angeles Dodgers sunk the San Francisco Giants, 4-1. Williams was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. This win makes it 5 in a row for Los Angeles.
Early in the game, Williams had a 2-run home run for Los Angeles. It was his 26th home run of the season and put the Dodgers on top, 2-0.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Los Angeles manager Giovanni Ciotti.
