5-Hit Game for Trahan
It was a sensational day at the plate for Shane Trahan as he led the charge to a nifty 11-7 win over the Astros. The Texas left fielder was pure misery for the Houston pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.

"Trahan put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Zeb Currier, manager for the Astros, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."

Shane Trahan doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Matt Murphy in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

In 157 games this season, Trahan has batted at a .282 pace with 162 hits and 21 home runs.
