Manny Lopez never let the Shuckers get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Blue Wahoos to a win, 3-0. The win gives Pensacola a record of 6-1.

Pensacola used the timely hitting of Victor de Haro to capture the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blue Wahoos on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Lopez. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
