At Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, the Jackson Generals and Montgomery Biscuits were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Mario Calle pitched a dandy of a game to help the Montgomery Biscuits beat the Jackson Generals, 3-1. Ken Brusky closed the game out for Montgomery, earning his 3rd save.
The Biscuits got a big at-bat from designated hitter Danny Luzak. For the game, Luzak went 1 for 4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Montgomery a 2-0 lead.
Said losing manager Tony Trujillo: "We've got to find a way to push a run across."
The loss makes Jackson 3-5.
