Biscuits Find a Way to Win
|
Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium was host to some action-packed drama.
The Montgomery Biscuits had to overcome a fine effort from Jackson pitcher Jose Palomo to win, 4-3, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Palomo went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. Montgomery pitcher Robby Pieklo got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Inayat Ullah Clark got the loss.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Montgomery. That's when 26-year old right fielder Brad Duncan hit a run-scoring double off Inayat Ullah Clark to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Duncan.
Jackson is now 3-6.
