Braves Suffer 9-7 Loss to Mobile
The Mobile BayBears besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Mississippi designated hitter Lauro Pisani by beating the Braves, 9-7, at Hank Aaron Stadium. Pisani was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The loss drops Mississippi to 8-3.

Elijah Higginson had a big grand slam home run for the BayBears in the bottom of the third inning. With Mobile leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from Chris Valentine and swatted a home run to right. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the BayBears ahead, 7-2.

"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Higginson after the game.
