Biscuits Rebuff Lookouts, 3-2
|
Montgomery parlayed a decent outing from starter Steven Wenger into a solid win over the Chattanooga Lookouts. The final score was 3-2. With the win, Montgomery improves its record to 12-4.
The Biscuits got a big at-bat from center fielder Matt Dobson. For the game, Dobson was 1 for 3 with a double and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Montgomery a 2-1 lead.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Wenger.
