Lookouts Bump Off Blue Wahoos, 2-0
|
The Chattanooga Lookouts defeated the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 2-0, in Southern League action at Five County Stadium. Chattanooga pitcher Bobby Marin had a standout performance. In 6.2 innings, Marin surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed no runs. The loss puts Pensacola at 8-11.
It could have been a different outcome for Chattanooga, had it not been for Pablo Luna, the 23-year old third baseman . Luna contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put Chattanooga up, 1-0.
"There are times you get yourself out and there are times you come through," Marin said. "That's how it goes."
