Fitzsimons, Smokies Too Much for Generals
The performance of Eric Fitzsimons proved critical in helping Tennessee beat Jackson, 4-2. The Smokies second baseman went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Early on, the Smokies, at 17-6, have excelled.

Fitzsimons got the Smokies off to a quick start. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.
