The Pensacola Blue Wahoos topped the Biloxi Shuckers, 4-2, in Southern League action at MGM Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Pensacola pitcher Manny Lopez. Earning his 8th save of the year was Josh Pogue. Biloxi is 13-13 after the loss.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Javier Palomino? The Pensacola right fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Blue Wahoos on top, 3-0. For the game, Palomino had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Manny did a good job of managing their lineup," said Pensacola manager Evan Salinas.
