Biscuits Get 4-0 Win Versus Birmingham
The Montgomery Biscuits got a good effort from starter Adam Walker in defeating the Birmingham Barons at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The final score was 4-0. Walker got the win, improving to 1-3. He gave up 7 hits and walked 4 over 6 innings. He allowed no runs. Bobby Crosby earned save number 1 this season.

Andy Molina had a big 2-run home run for the Biscuits in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Montgomery leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Alejandro Comparan and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Biscuits on top, 4-0.

"We took home the win," said Molina. "What's not to like?"

The Biscuits now have a mark of 14-16.
