Johnson Powers BayBears to 7-4 Win
The Mobile BayBears beat the Montgomery Biscuits by a score of 7-4. Mobile catcher Jordan Johnson deserved the lion's share of the credit. Johnson was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the BayBears. Ryan Idziak picked up the save, his 1st. The win boosted Mobile to 15-15.

Johnson had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-1 fastball from Robby Pieklo, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the BayBears a 7-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Johnson.

Johnson told a Mobile Daily reporter that he was "very happy" with the win.
