Biscuits Get Hard-Earned Win
The Montgomery Biscuits had to overcome a fine effort from Birmingham pitcher Joe Drake to win, 4-3, at Regions Field. Drake went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Montgomery pitcher Ken Brusky got the win. He's now 1-2. Jorge Gomez was tagged with the loss. The first-place Biscuits now have a win-loss record of 22-17.

Montgomery needed the clutch hitting of Jesse Aggott to seal the deal. The catcher swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Biscuits on top, 4-3. For the game, Aggott had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Aggott told the Montgomery Daily.
