Jackson Generals starter Tony Walsh turned in an exceptional performance against the Birmingham Barons at Regions Field, resulting in a Jackson win, 3-1. Jackson is now 27-15. Birmingham is 20-22.
Jackson third baseman Jack Morris delivered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. Overall, he went 3 for 4, picking up 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and knocked in 3.
