The Mississippi Braves grabbed a win, 6-4, over the Jackson Generals at Trustmark Park. Mississippi first baseman Cody Dimmer went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Mississippi reliever Anthony Hall picked up the win to move to 4-3. Bobby Proa suffered the loss. The win hiked the Mississippi record to 24-19.
Dimmer had a timely hit for Mississippi in the bottom of the eighth. With Jackson trailing 4-3, he turned a 1-1 changeup into a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 6-4, Mississippi.
