Biloxi pitcher Seth Forster had a large part in his team subduing the Montgomery Biscuits, 6-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Matt Woods closed out the game, earning his 5th save. Biloxi now sports a record of 25-19.

Biloxi won the game in part because of Randolph layland. The first baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Shuckers ahead, 5-2. For the game, layland had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
