Though he had a stellar game, Danny Diaz could not prevent his team, the Montgomery Biscuits, from losing, 5-3, to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. Diaz was 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The winner in relief was Zion Carter. He is now 5-3. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. At 20-25, the Blue Wahoos claim third place in the North Division.

Ryan Kralik came through with a big-time hit for Pensacola. The designated hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Kralik told the Pensacola Gazette: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
