Late Rally by Biscuits Secures 3-1 Win
|
The Montgomery Biscuits got a good effort from starter Sam Emberton in defeating the Mobile BayBears at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The final score was 3-1. The Biscuits have an impressive 29-17 record.
Had Mike Hott not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Hott hit a 2-run single. That made the score 3-1, in favor of the Biscuits.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Emberton.
