Angels Stumble, Lose to Reds
Getting an impressive start from Matt Stavish, Cincinnati beat Los Angeles by the score of 9-2. With the win, Cincinnati goes to 2-0.

Eric Starnes had a big grand slam home run for the Reds in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Cincinnati leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he sized up a changeup from Richard Clare, who led the AL in saves with 45 in 2103, and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Reds on top, 7-2.

"They just got us," said Los Angeles manager Matt Moore, "and that's all I can say."
