Rubio Now 3-5 Following 3-0 Win
|
In a tight tilt between the Chattanooga Lookouts and the Jackson Generals, Andres Rubio was the deciding factor. The Chattanooga right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Jason Snyder nailed down his 3rd save. Chattanooga is now 20-34.
Rubio, a native of Higüey, Dominican Republic, was dealing all game. He kept Jackson hitters off-balance, while giving the Lookouts 8.2 quality innings. Rubio threw 80 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 2.
"We didn't score," said losing manager Tony Trujillo. "That was the problem."
