Biscuits Use Late Rally to Win 4th Straight
|
The Montgomery Biscuits topped the Birmingham Barons, 7-5, with third baseman Tony Parrish playing a big role. Parrish was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Biscuits in the win. At 37-22, the Biscuits are currently first in the South Division.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Parrish hit a splitter from David Fuentes for a 2-run home run. The Biscuits, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"It's going to click," said Birmingham manager John Ware. "It's just a matter of when."
