The Jackson Generals downed the Mississippi Braves, 8-1, at The Ballpark at Jackson. The Generals were led by Rich Griffin. Griffin went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. T.J. Carman picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-3 on the season. He struck out 6 and walked 5 in 5 innings, while yielding 1 run. Brian Fulp recorded the save for Jackson, his 1st of the season.
