DuPerry Paces Blue Wahoos to 4-1 Win
The umbrellas came out during the Pensacola-Jackson contest at Five County Stadium.

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos received a superlative performance from starting pitcher John DuPerry, allowing them to bump off the Jackson Generals, 4-1. Josh Pogue closed the door for Pensacola, picking up his 14th save of the year.

Pensacola starter John DuPerry was exceptional. The 6-foot-5 right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 8 innings of work.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said DuPerry after the game.

Pensacola is now 37-24, while Jackson is 20-41.
