Shuckers Absorb 6-4 Loss at Hank Aaron Stadium
|
Ethan Carter, who is tied for 6th in the SL in complete games with 1, propelled his team to victory over the Biloxi Shuckers. The final score was 6-4, Mobile. Carter, now 5-4, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. The BayBears are now 30-34.
Mike Lowery, the first overall pick in the 2109 draft, took Biloxi hurler Andy Kader deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the BayBears on top, 3-2. In all, Lowery had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
"All in all, I thought Ethan pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Mobile manager Corey Olsen.
