The Biloxi Shuckers and Mobile BayBears provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Mobile BayBears had to overcome a fine effort from Biloxi pitcher Seth Forster to win, 5-4, at Hank Aaron Stadium. Forster went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. Bernie Baldovino, the winner, is now 6-2. He struck out 6 and walked 3 over 8.2 innings, while allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. Jorge Cordero closed out the game, earning his 2nd save.

The BayBears got a big at-bat from first baseman Phil Young. For the game, Young was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Mobile a 2-1 lead.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Mobile manager Corey Olsen.

Mobile goes to 35-29, Biloxi to 34-30.
