Higginson Hits 2 home runs in BayBears Win
Elijah Higginson impressed in the 12-4 Mobile win over Montgomery. Higginson, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2104 draft, hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Mobile pitcher Juan Fierros got the win. He's now 7-2. Mike Buchman was tagged with the loss. The second-place BayBears now have a win-loss record of 35-29.

Early in the game, Higginson had a grand slam home run for Mobile. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the BayBears on top, 4-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Higginson told the Mobile Daily.
