The Montgomery Biscuits outlasted Ramon Estrada and the Mobile BayBears, 8-7. Estrada was impressive in the loss. The Mobile center fielder went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Reliever John Campbell picked up the win. His record improves to 4-5. Adrian Castro, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2109 draft, took the loss. With the win, Montgomery pushed its record to 37-31.

Chris Gardner was the walk-off hero for Montgomery. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Biscuits catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Biscuits manager George Woolbright. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
