Santiago hits 2 home runs to Fuel Biscuits Offense
Alex Santiago powered the Montgomery Biscuits to a win over the Mississippi Braves. The final score was 6-2. The Montgomery catcher, who is tied for 6th in the SL in doubles with 14, was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. The Biscuits raised their record to 42-26.

Ray Pace went 1-5 for Montgomery. The 21-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Willie Cardona. It was his 27th RBI of the season.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Santiago told the Montgomery Daily.
