Montgomery Biscuits starter Tony Severs turned in a sterling performance against the Birmingham Barons, leading his team to a slim, 3-2 win. Montgomery now has a record of 46-23 with the win.

The Barons had little chance against Severs, who overpowered Birmingham hitters and struck out 10.

"Tony had good life on his pitches," said Montgomery manager Robert Alvarez.
