The Biscuits grabbed a win, 3-2, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Mobile pitcher Kyle Brown. Brown went 7.1 innings and allowed no runs. Montgomery reliever Desiderio Sapani was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Nestor Chita. Josh Cruff wrapped it up, recording his 5th save.
The Biscuits got a big at-bat from center fielder Fernando Camarillo. For the game, Camarillo was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Montgomery a 2-0 lead.
Camarillo called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
Montgomery sits in last place in the South Division at 30-40.
