Chattanooga and Tennessee duked it out and the Lookouts came out victorious.

The Chattanooga Lookouts dealt the Tennessee Smokies a 6-3 loss at Smokies Park. Jon Blacker was the star on offense. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Tony Macias picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 5-2. Steve Buck picked up the save for Chattanooga, his 5th of the year.

Early in the game, Blacker had a 2-run home run for Chattanooga. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Lookouts on top, 2-0.

"We're producers not directors," said Blacker. "Produce a good swing. Can't direct where it goes."

The win hiked the Chattanooga record to 39-32.
