The Montgomery Biscuits beat the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 6-4, at Five County Stadium. Montgomery catcher Alex Santiago had an outstanding performance. He was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2. Matt Laws picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Phil Diaz suffered the loss. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Pensacola.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Huai-yu Zhang? The 22-year old shortstop Zhang stroked a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Montgomery up, 6-4. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
