Blue Wahoos, Burleson Pin Bad Loss on Biscuits
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos used an offensive barrage to beat the Montgomery Biscuits, 10-2, at Five County Stadium. Mike Burleson, who is tied for 3rd in the SL in home runs with 11, led the way, going 2-for-4 for Pensacola. Aaron Humphrey, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 3 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 9. His record now stands at 3-0. The win for the Blue Wahoos raised their record to 38-35.

With Pensacola leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Burleson hit a fastball from Jose Esparza for a grand slam home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Blue Wahoos ahead, 5-0.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager George Woolbright.
