In a tight affair between the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and the Montgomery Biscuits, pitcher Paul Dudley was in the zone. The Pensacola left-hander helped his team win the game, 2-1. The third-place Blue Wahoos now have a win-loss record of 39-35.

The Biscuits had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Blue Wahoos going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old second baseman Greg Myers came to the plate. Myers hit a run-scoring double on a 0-1 fastball from Montgomery hurler Kyle Currence. It was Myers's 1st double of the year.

"When Paul's on, he's on," said Pensacola manager Evan Salinas.
