Shuckers Send Montgomery Home with 2-1 Loss
In a low-scoring contest between the Biloxi Shuckers and the Montgomery Biscuits, Jon Espinoza was the X factor. The Biloxi right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Espinoza picked up the win for Biloxi, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 8-3. Andy McDougall earned the save, his 4th, for the Shuckers.

The Shuckers got a big at-bat from right fielder Anders McLean. For the game, McLean went 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 6th double of the season gave Biloxi a 2-1 lead.

"The object of the game is to score more runs than they do," said McLean. "Mission accomplished."

The third-place Shuckers bumped their record to 40-35.
