Montgomery Gets Another L
Biloxi Shuckers starter John Wordell pitched a strong game against the Montgomery Biscuits at MGM Park, leading the Shuckers to victory, 3-2. Biloxi is second in the North Division with a record of 44-32.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Shuckers had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when designated hitter Hayden Bruce hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Johnny Grove and made the score 3-0, Shuckers. Bruce went 1 for 3.

"The want-to is there for our guys," said Montgomery manager Robert Alvarez. "We'll get this thing turned around."
