Shuckers Snag 7-6 Win
Biloxi beat Chattanooga at MGM Park, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to catcher Billy Weil. He went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Biloxi reliever Josh Begley picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Butch Reilly was saddled with the loss. Biloxi currently is in first place in the North Division at 46-31.

Josh Shippee was the walk-off hero for Biloxi. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Shuckers pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Shippee said in his postgame press conference.
